Munna Bhaiya From Mirzapur Has His Says On Rishabh Pant’s Brilliant Century!!

Rishabh Pant’s outstanding performance in the third One-Day International against England helped India clinch the series. He was named “Player of the Match” for his incredible unbeaten century that helped India defeat England by five wickets and win the series 2-1 at Old Trafford in Manchester. After entering the game with India in a critical position at 72/4, Pant blasted 125* to help India chase down the 260-run mark with just under eight overs remaining. Following the series’ completion, one of Pant’s tweets went viral.

Pant shared two photos of himself with a caption that quoted a popular line from the web series Mirzapur. Swag abounds in the post and accompanying photographs. Pant wrote, “Aur hum ek naya niyam add kar rahe hain.” “Mirzapur ki gaddi pe baithne wala kabhi bhi niyam badal sakta hai – Munna Bhaiya,”.

Divyenndu, the actor who played Munna Bhaiya in the online serial Mirzapur, has now responded to Pant’s post. They even engaged in some lighthearted banter. Divyendu Sharma played the popular character of Munna Bhaiya and is now a renowned actor in Bollywood.  And now it seems like Divyendu is also good friends with Rishabh Pant.

Hardik’s All Round Brilliance

Hardik Pandya’s superb bowling effort in the series finale helped India defeat England for 259 runs. The final rounder’s overall score was 4/24.

However, India’s openers, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma, were out in the first five overs, putting the squad in imminent danger. Pant completed his century with Ravindra Jadeja at the crease after Hardik was removed for 71.

Pant then struck five consecutive boundaries off David Willey in the 42nd over before reverse-sweeping Joe Root off the first ball of the 43rd over to give India a comfortable victory.
